01 / 04

Stud Walls

New stud partitions built, boarded and insulated where needed, square and solid.

02 / 04

Dot & Dab

Plasterboard dot-and-dabbed to brick or block for a fast, flat surface ready to skim.

03 / 04

Ceilings & Overboarding

New ceilings boarded out, or tired ceilings overboarded to hide cracks and old texture.

04 / 04

Tape & Joint

A clean taped-and-jointed finish where a full skim is not needed, ready straight for decoration.

Common questions, plainly answered.

Should I skim or tape and joint?

Skimming gives the smoothest, most durable finish. Tape and joint is quicker and cheaper and fine for some jobs. Keith will tell you honestly which is right for yours.

Can you board a new stud wall and skim it?

Yes. Keith builds the stud, boards it, then tapes or skims it, all from one visit, so there is one person responsible start to finish.

Do you insulate stud walls?

Acoustic or thermal insulation can be fitted inside a new stud wall before boarding. Just mention it when you ask for a quote.
